Behind the Photos : Shooting an Olympic gold medalist

I got a call from a friend of a friend who was looking to find a photographer to do a shoot with Olympic Gold Medalist in swimming, Breeja Larson. It didn’t take any convincing to get me interested. I met with the athlete at a YMCA pool.

Three types of people

According to Adam Grant, the youngest-tenured and highest-rated professor at Wharton School of Business, there are three types of people:

1. The Taker

2. The Matcher

3. The Giver

The Taker is an egoist. They tend to get more than they give. They believe the world is a competitive, dog-eat-dog world. As a result, they put their needs before everyone else. This strategy works for short-term gain … but it’s nearly impossible to sustain.

The Matcher is someone who seeks balance between giving and taking. They seek fairness and equality. If they put too much into a relationship, without getting anything in return, they’ll eventually give up. They believe in even exchanges and trading favors.

he Giver is altruistic. It’s a rare breed of human who doesn’t look for anything in return. Whereas Takers are focused on receiving all of time and Matchers are focused on receiving at least some of the time … Givers don’t even think about it.

And it is observable further that in the Old Testament, though the word hell is often used, yet it is most commonly used for the grave and not for the place of the damned. But in the New Testament, except in two places, hell is altogether taken for the place of the damned, Acts 2:27 and 31. Therefore it is clear to every eye that the gospel is more backed with…

Cure for my pain.

cancer killing recipe

Finally – I hope – I have found a cure for my Gout pain – KEFIR.
I will tell you shortly how I come to that conclusion.

When I first heard about “leaky gut” I thought that you have to have a hole in your intestine – like a hole in the rusty pipe – or something like a leaky faucet… 🙂 …
So I never followed on it, because I’m not in such a bad shape… 🙂 …

But few days ago I did some more research and this what I found:
“Leaky gut” means, that bacteria, fungi, parasites, undigested protein, fat and toxic waist pass through a damaged gut membranes to the blood stream – this causes the immune system to attack them. And this leads to allergies, autoimmune disorders, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, gout, chronic fatigue syndrome, vitiligo, vasculitis, Chrohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, hives, type…
