Jesus said, “It is I who am the light which is above them all. It is I who am the all. From me did the all come forth, and unto me did the all extend. Split a piece of wood, and I am there. Lift up the stone, and you will find me there.”
Gospel of Thomas, verse 77
This day I’m reminded that God’s house has many mansions and there is one for me which Jesus is busy preparing. What a relief that my superannuation plan called “trusting Jesus” means I am so superbly looked after by God that I don’t have to worry about anything that happens to me in the world—and I’m free mentally and physically from any bondage of doctrine or ritual or rites because of Jesus.
